Student Checklist
In order to participate in the trip to the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) students must complete the following steps.
Pre-Registration
- Confirm who your Emergency Contact will be. You will need to provide their full name and phone number when you register.
- Download the Off-Campus Trip Form, print it, complete page 3, scan it, and save it to a location that you can access when you register.
- Complete the SPARC training in Brightspace and save the certificate of completion to a location that you can access when you register.
- If you have already completed SPARC training, make sure that your date of completion is after July 1, 2025.

During Registration
- Complete your registration through the links on the site by the stated registration deadline. It is your responsibility to upload all requested information and materials by the registration deadline.
Pre-Trip
- Confirm that your Emergency Contact is aware of the event date and that they will be available.
- Review the agenda and make a plan to arrive on time at CUNY SPS. Late arrivals will not be permitted to take part.
