The Conference will kick off in the Hall of Fame Playhouse with greetings from the CUNY LGBTQI+ Council, BCC’s President Milton Santiago, spoken word from a student, and much more! We will share information about the day, the options and services available throughout the conference, and welcome you to this fantastic gathering of CUNY’s LGBTQI+ community!

During this session, we will share updates about CUNY that affect our community and what we are continuing to push for. We also want to hear from you about your experiences at CUNY. We will discuss how we as a community can push for these changes.

A beloved icon in queer nightlife, she has starred in hit TV shows like Survival of the Thickest and Fire Island and co-hosted the GLAAD Media Awards. As the ACLU’s first Artist Ambassador for Trans Justice, she champions LGBTQ+ rights, raising significant funds and awareness. With multiple albums, acclaimed performances, and industry honors, Peppermint continues to break barriers and inspire audiences worldwide.
