Reverend Sheila Glenn is a trailblazing servant leader who made history as the first woman appointed to the hired staff of the Friendship Baptist Church, where she now serves as its first-ever Assistant Pastor. A former member of the Black Panther Party, Pastor Glenn’s life is rooted in activism, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to justice and community uplift. She is a proud graduate of the College of New Rochelle (B.A.) and Harvard Divinity School (M.Div.), carrying into her ministry a powerful blend of academic excellence, spiritual grounding, and transparent leadership. Guided by her belief that “we can do all things through Christ, which strengthens us,” Pastor Glenn brings passion, experience, and authenticity to every space she enters.
