When energy dips and deadlines pile up, staying motivated can feel like a marathon with no finish line.

This skills-based workshop helps students identify their core motivators, build small daily habits, and overcome procrastination—while also learning to create flexible routines, set realistic expectations, and practice self-compassion. The focus is on staying disciplined without burnout, using practical tools and peer reflection to support long-term success.

Nancy Ancowitz is a career strategist and career director at NYU, and earlier on, a VP at JPMorgan. A pioneer of popular introvert advocacy, she’s been speaking, writing about, and advising introverts since the early 2000s. A regular Baruch webinar presenter and speaker, Nancy previously served as a career advisor in the Zicklin Graduate Career Management Center.

She is the author of Self-Promotion for Introverts®, Business Writing: Say More With Less, and Zoom to Success: Present Like a Pro. Her work has been published in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, and she blogs for Psychology Today. She helps clients get the job, the promotion, and the recognition they’re seeking.
