Stephanie McBurnett, RDN (Nutrition Educator) is a registered dietitian and has a previous career as a U.S. Naval Officer. She graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and spent more than five years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy. After her service, she pursued her passion for nutrition and wellness as a registered dietitian nutritionist. She earned her nutrition degree from the University of Alabama, where she discovered the clear evidence that a whole food, plant-based diet was going to be the best diet both for her daughter with a congenital heart disease (CHD) and for herself/the rest of her family.
